Group fitness has come a long way from the days of Jane Fonda and leg warmers. The Les Mills group fitness system used by Counties Fitness is taught in over 13,000 Clubs worldwide. It’s by far the most popular group fitness system in the world. Why? Because members love the world class choreography delivered by inspirational and highly qualified instructor’s. Not only are these classes fun, but they deliver great results.

You don’t have to be fit to participate in fact we encourage all new members to give them a go. The combination of great instructor’s and enthusiastic participants are the ingredients for a great workout!

We have the biggest timetable in South Auckland, with three studios and 50 classes everyweek!

Take the ultimate ride! RPM incorporates cycling, choreography and motivational coaching techniques to give you a completely safe, aerobic, adrenaline ride. Get in the zone and find out why RPM is totally addictive.
BODYCOMBAT combines moves and stances developed from a range of self-defense disciplines such as karate, boxing, Tai Chi, and kickboxing. It is a fiercely energetic experience taught in a safe and simplistic manner. Designed to fight fat and kick calories, it is a great cardiovascular workout that’s all out fun.
A low impact modified class combining many training aspects using bodyweight and equipment. Aimed at those wanting a softer, simpler approach to exercise.
30mins only – A rapid fat-burning class that uses barbells to give you the fastest way to tone and condition muscles! After an exhaustive study, BODYPUMP was verified by The University of Auckland as providing the fastest body fat loss of any fitness class.

SH'BAM 45min
Featuring simple but seriously hot dance moves, SH’BAM is the perfect way to shape up and let out your inner star – even if you’re dance challenged. Set to a soundtrack of chart-topping popular dance hits heard in the hottest nightclubs around the world, as well as familiar classics remixed, and modernised Latin beats, SH’BAM is the ultimate fun and sociable way to exercise.
BODYSTEP is the ultimate way to give your body a high energy cardioblast and tone the hips and thighs. With over 2,000 steps per session you’ll see results in record time. Get in step with one of the best fitness classes the world has to offer.
A high-energy, calorie-consuming athletic workout that will push you past the limit with strong, simple moves and pumping music. This is the most intense workout you’ll find in the world of fitness – a session guaranteed to take no prisoners.
CXWORX really hones in on the torso and sling muscles that connect your upper body to your lower body. It’s ideal for tightening your tummy and butt, while also improving functional strength and assisting in injury prevention. It’ll help you run faster … play harder … stand stronger! No ordinary workout, CXWORX hits many of the top fitness trends: Core training; Strength training and Functional fitness. Highly-trained instructors explain the science behind each exercise and challenge you to reach beyond your limits. Like all LES MILLS programs, a new CXWORX class is released every three months with fresh music and choreography. Class duration 30minutes.

GRIT Series
Three programs make up GRIT. GRIT STRENGTH Blasting all major muscle groups, members are pushed out of their comfort zone and leave with lean, toned muscle. Using barbells, plates and the bench, 30 minutes later it’s all over but metabolism stays in overdrive for hours afterwards. It’s the guaranteed fat burn members want. GRIT PLYO Based on the principles of plyometrics, this workout uses the bench to build your members’ power and leg strength. Transforms muscle fiber producing the lean, athletic shape members are crying out for. GRIT CARDIO Maximize calorie burn with this combination of high impact body weight exercise and watch your members get super fit, super fast. Cardio is scientifically proven to get results, and high intensity interval training takes it to a whole new level. Members burn fat and boost fitness in no time.
LES MILLS SPRINT is 30-minute High Intensity Interval Training on a bike. It’s built on the sport of cycle sprinting, which means you’ll be taking your training to the next level with a workout that’s all about speed. LES MILLS SPRINT is not your usual cycle class. It’s a quick and hard style of training – short bursts of intensity followed by short periods of active recovery – that will give you fast results with minimal impact on your joints.
